Finnplay’s website is intended to provide you with information and means to contact us and Finnplay (hereinafter also referred to as “the Data Controller” ”We” or “Us”) highly values and respects your privacy - you being our customer or just an online visitor.

This Privacy Policy is created in order for you to browse our website and use its functionalities not having to wonder about your data. We are committed to following the privacy principles set out in the GDPR. 

We collect as little as possible, and only process it the way We have informed you in this Privacy Policy. Our aim is to respect your rights as a data subject and inform you about our processes as accurately and transparently as possible.

What, how and why we obtain your information

When you register to be in contact with Us, We need to ask you for some personal information in order to create your profile. We will also need, of course, your contact information so we can keep in touch with you and ensure that everything is running smoothly with our relationship.

Sign up data:

  • Full name and/or Company name;
  • E-mail address;
  • Telephone number;
  • Address;
  • Website address;
  • Other contact forms (Skype, Teams, etc); and
  • Username and password.

If you choose to, you can also sign up to receive marketing and promotional messages from us! If you chose to receive them but later changed your mind, don't worry - you can always withdraw your consent and update your marketing preferences with us. 

How long do we retain your personal data for?

We will retain your personal data for up to 5 years. This is due to the financial information and to comply with regulation concerning Anti-Money Laundering, fraud and taxation. We will keep your information safe and will securely destroy your information once the retention period is over. 

Your Rights as a Data Subject

Right to Access Personal Data

You can send an email to dpi(at)finnplay.com with a Subject Access Request ("SAR"). Just identify yourself and ask for your info and we will gladly send it to you. We will process your query within 30 days of confirming your identity. 

 

Right to Rectify your Personal Data

You can always rectify the information you have previously given us, so that it stays updated and correct at all times.


Right to Object and to Erase your Personal Data

In some instances, you can request for your data to be erased. Note that this will only be applicable to data which the processing is not required by law.

 

Right to Withdraw your consent

In whichever situation you give your consent for processing, (for example, for marketing purposes) you can also withdraw it. That means that even if you agree to receiving our newsletters you can always ask us to remove you from our mailing list :) .

 

Complaints

We are committed to keeping your data safe and running the website smoothly. However, if you are not satisfied with how your information has been handled by Finnplay you can always reach out to our Support Team with your concerns. 

If you are unhappy with the outcome of your interaction with the Support Team, you can always ask for the matter to be revised by our Data Protection Officer ("DPO"). 

The DPO will then launch an investigation to verify whether your information has been handled appropriately and in line with this policy and our legal obligations. 

You will be contacted by the DPO with the result of such investigation.

If after raising your complaint with the DPO you are dissatisfied with the resolution to your complaint you can make a formal complaint to our lead supervisory authority, the Finnish Data Protection Commissioner:

International Transfers

We always aim at keeping your information within the EU/EEA. However, some circumstances require that data is transferred to outside of the EU/EEA when we work with some third parties. Any time that happens, Finnplay makes sure that the third party is covered by a Privacy Shield, offering the same protections as the data would have should it remain within the EU/EEA.

Translations

Finnplayl's company language is English. We have our websites translated into different languages for your convenience. However, if there are any conflicts between the translated version and the English one, the English one will prevail.
